Terrible Idea!

For the record, this QOD diet has been the world's worst idea as far as I'm concerned. Even though overweight and not able to lose it, my weight has been stable for six months. However, trying this plan which incoporates low calorie but high sodium foods on the fast days alternating with the fact that I tend to binge when I feel deprived, I have gained 4 pounds in the space of one day! Usually even if I have a bad day I gain a couple of pounds which are probably water and lose them within the week. I should have known this was a shitty idea when I was getting charlie horses from my potassium/sodium balance being off.
I've been on this gain two lose two cycle for months now. I am going back to what I was doing before and seeing if there are small, relatively painless changes I can make to my diet that I can stick with. This sucks, Folks! If you are prone to water retention or emotional eating DON'T DO IT!!!! I wish I hadn't! Now I feel even worse when I look in the mirror. It's no wonder my feet have been hurting so much--they're swollen as hell from the excess fluid! And here I sit starving without even a few quarters for the vending machine. Shit, shit, shit!
If you're thin--you're lucky! Count your blessings! I wish I was!
Peace,
Cie

High sodium is NEVER a good idea! It makes my carpal tunnel really bad, just for starters.

Sorry! That was Weirsdo. Pansi is a fan of all diets, especially the ones where you end up in the hospital seeing little blue men and pulling your dried out hair out in clumps.

High sodium always makes me bloat! I should have known better than to even try this--genius!

Pansi, the little blue men were really there. Those are the Psycho Smurfs. Trust me, I've seen them too! But not from dieting. They follow me sometimes when I'm doing my nightly rounds at work!
